California Meetings January 2013
I can’t tell you how excited I am about the meetings scheduled for this weekend in the San Diego area. On Saturday night I get the privilege of speaking with my friend Mark Spence from Way of the Master. Mark and I will be doing some tag team talks followed by a Q & A session. Seating is limited so get there early. The entire weekend is packed so enjoy as much as you can. Here is the schedule for the rest of the week including the Creation Conference 2013.

Shari Abbott has written a book entitled, Why the Butterfly? (Available at www.rforhope.com.) As I read it, it was a refreshing walk down memory lane. I too often lose sight of what God has done for me and Shari’s book was a great reminder of so many foundational truths. She reminds us of everything from who God is, to the power of the Holy Spirit. I need to put this on the list of books I read once a year, because I need reminded!

OK! I know this is not a post on Creation, but with our series Godonomics out there and the Godonomics book expected to be released July 16, 2013, I just couldn’t help share the following blog. In this seemingly complex world, it is amazing that an eight-year old has pretty much figured it out! Do you worry much? Here we are at the beginning of a new year leaving many people with so much anxiety about what will happen in the economy, the world events, and their personal families. I must admit that many times I find myself in the same situation, worrying about what’s going to happen tomorrow.

I just finished viewing the 34-minute documentary “Genius” that Ray Comfort and Mark Spence from Way of the Master have put together on the life of John Lennon. Why did John Lennon say, “We are more popular than Jesus”? You will love the way Ray Comfort has woven the gospel into this story about John Lennon. It is an amazing movie that you need to take time to view and share with others.

Growing up, I have always loved the subject of Dinosaurs. Maybe it is because my Dad was nick-named “Dr. Dino,” or the fact that he taught and talked about them incessantly. Regardless of how I became so interested, any time an opportunity to look for new dinosaurs comes up, it piques my curiosity.
