XBMC Media Center Users:

I am always amazed at the creativity and gifts with which God blesses people, especially when they use those gifts for the furthering of the Gospel. Recently, we were contacted by a volunteer who took the initiative to create a Creation Today add-on for those who use XBMC Media Center on their computer. Here is an update from Clint Smith in our tech department about this project.

Weekend of Ministry in Ft Lauderdale

Eric Hovind February 27th, 2014

God is so good.

I had the opportunity to go to Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida immediately following the Ken Ham versus Bill Nye debate. Let’s just say that leaving 20-degree-weather and a snowstorm to head down and be among palm trees and sunshine proved a wonderful day for me. (See pictures below.) I was privileged to be a part of the conference entitled “In the Beginning.” We worked on this event for months and were thrilled to see it all come together.

Refusing to C-14 Test Dinosaur Soft Tissue

Eric Hovind February 26th, 2014

An oldie but a goodie.

Jack Horner is one of the best-known paleontologists in the United States. He is the curator at Montana State University’s Museum of the Rockies and along with Mary Schweitzer is credited with discovering “soft tissue” in a T-Rex bone back in 2005. On October 13, 2006, Denver radio talk show host Bob Enyart called paleontologist Jack Horner about testing the soft tissue fossil for carbon 14. Enyart had people willing to write a grant to Horner in the amount of $20,000 just for permission to have the fossil tested for Carbon 14.

High School Science
It will not have escaped your notice that our friends at Answers in Genesis are hosting a debate between Ken Ham, President and CEO of Answers in Genesis, and Bill Nye, known for his former children’s TV program, “Bill Nye the Science Guy”. We commend Ken and AiG for getting the agreement for this debate, and, of course, we offer them our wholehearted support – even though I failed to get a ticket! The tickets for the event, to be held at AiG’s own 1,000-seater Legacy Hall, sold out within two minutes of their release earlier today.

Walking With Dinosaurs helps Creation!

Rex Passed Out the T.R.U.T.H. About the Dinosaurs.

While the 3D movie Walking with Dinosaurs received less than favorable reviews from the movie critiques, it proved very successful as a  drawing card for witnessing!
