Genesis and Marriage

Paul Taylor August 2nd, 2012

Does a creationist organization have anything to say about marriage? Should we say anything about marriage? The answer to both questions is “yes.”

Chick-Fil-A’s Coals of Fire

Tolerance Trumps

After finishing my meal last night at Chick-fil-A with my family, we had a chance to talk with the owner’s wife. She told us some of the facts about how much food they had gone through and how they were running all over the place trying to get more food to feed the people that were coming to support them. Sitting across from me was Steve, our social media manager at Creation Today. He had been there earlier during the lunch rush, if you can even call it a rush. When the line stays out the door all day long, is there really one part of the day that you can call a rush? Anyway, while he was there for lunch, he saw that someone was protesting in a unique way outside Chick-fil-A. They wore a cow costume and brandished a sign that read “God hates fags.” We asked her how corporate policy advised them to handle the protester and she replied that they simply were going to love them. She told us that they had gone out and offered free food and water to the person protesting.

A testimony to the power of the creation message!

I just had a great conversation with a donor to the ministry named Jessica.

She was saved about 4 1/2 years ago. Shortly after, she saw the videotapes on creation vs. evolution. They blew her away—literally. She’d attended a liberal university, and hearing all the scientific facts about the age of the earth really enlightened her to the truth of God’s word.

South Korea Removes Evolution from Schools. Really?

Paul Taylor June 25th, 2012

Hyperbole from news media on the subject of evolution is nothing new. So, when reports started appearing in the secular media that South Korea was removing the teaching of evolution from schools, most creationists would have smelled a rat.

Are Atheists Forcing Christians to Be Creationists?

Paul Taylor June 13th, 2012

A recent Gallup Poll1 has suggested that 46 percent of all Americans hold a creationist viewpoint of human origins. This statistic by itself promotes comment. The Gallup report states:

Liking Itching Ears

Paul Taylor June 11th, 2012

As an author, I like to check where my books are being sold and often check on their Amazon listings. It was amusing to find that the Amazon algorithm had recommended a useful product for people who were buying my new book, No Time for Itching Ears. It suggested that they buy a cream that treats fungal infections in your ear!

The Beginning of Wisdom

Eric Hovind June 8th, 2012

There is a great proverbs that says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” This is so true. Please take 1 minute and 28 seconds to see this short clip that Daniel Johnson put together as a reminder of that truth.

Ham and Hovind Get Sparks to Fly on TBN

Eric Hovind June 7th, 2012

This past weekend I had the opportunity to join Ray Comfort, Ken Ham, Sean McDowell, Hugh Ross, and John Bloom on TBN’s Praise the Lord program.  During the program Matt Crouch, the host, allowed us to debate Old Earth vs Young Earth Creation!  I remember sitting there and thinking, “Wow, I can’t believe that they are letting us do this! Let’s get it on!”
