Eric Hovind July 3rd, 2013

Eric-on-Atheist-Monument-Starke-FLBackground to the Boldness

The new DVD How to Answer the Fool was released less than 2 months ago and is already sweeping across the apologetic community with jaw dropping results. Christians have been emboldened to share their faith and are learning how to defend it just like the Scriptures commanded. I was able to put the teaching into practice last Saturday at the unveiling of the nations first monument to the religion of Atheism in the history of the United States. The monument was placed in Starke, FL just outside the Bradford County Court House with 200 – 300 atheists in attendance.

Don’t Miss the Boat

Don't Miss the Boat

So much of the world around us was shaped by the events both during and shortly after the Flood. It is our contention that the majority of the world’s fossils were formed during the Flood, and most of the rest formed during local flood events shortly after, as waters on the continents were dispersed. We also argue that a great many of the world’s geological features formed during the Flood, or shortly after. Therefore, a lot of what we see in the world is either as a direct or indirect result of the Flood.

Interview on British Television

Revelation TVIf you live in the United Kingdom, or in Europe, you may be aware of Revelation TV – a satellite Christian TV channel that broadcasts via the Astra satellite, which covers most of Western Europe. Alone of all the Christian channels broadcasting to the UK, Revelation TV takes a firm stand on the truth of Genesis, and their schedule includes many programs with creationist content. Indeed, in recent months, our own Creation Today Show has aired on the channel.

In view of the controversy surrounding what the school board in Springboro, OH, is proposing vis-à-vis High School Biology education, it might be instructive to look at how Ohio’s existing science standards relate to the issue.

Straw Men Against the Flood

Paul Taylor May 31st, 2013

As my latest book, Don’t Miss the Boat—a detailed but non-technical book about the Flood—is due to be published in about a month, I thought it would be a good idea to look at some accusations that people level against the historicity of the Flood. I came across this set of questions on a web forum:

Killing People vs Killing Ants

Eric Hovind May 19th, 2013

If humans are just highly evolved animals, what is wrong with exterminating some when they become a nuisance? The evolution worldview can not explain why it would be wrong to kill people just like killing ants. Materialism and chemical reactions do not give rise to morality that dictates what is right and wrong.

Doubt or Defense

Eric Hovind May 2nd, 2013

When it comes to the truth of God’s Word, there are only two choices. Either you doubt it, or you step up to defend it. For young Aaron, doubt was never an option, but defense seemed equally difficult.

Using Art as a Witness in Public School

Eric Hovind April 4th, 2013

Last week, I had the privilege of going to Lipscomb Elementary School and interviewing one of the students there. She is a very hard worker and loves to volunteer in our Creation Store here in Pensacola. She is always bringing in her incredible art projects and telling me about how God is allowing her to use her abilities to be an influence among her peers in school.
