The Day Before School Starts
I found myself crying out to God on Sunday night knowing that a brand new season of indoctrination was about to start at 8:00 the next morning. The nation was about to begin a brand new school year.
Now it’s 2:30 am and I find myself at a public school praying for the 35 to 40 million students who today, begin a new academic year in our public school system. While I am excited about the knowledge they will gain, I am burdened because of the “poison” that has been mixed with truth; a poison so deadly that it destroys their faith in God—the poison of humanism and evolution.
A spiritual battle rages as the majority of young people from Christian homes who graduate from these schools and attend a secular university, turn their back on God. Some statistics show we are loosing as many as 75 percent. Too many lives have been ruined and it’s happening right under our nose. Who will stand in the gap with the students? Who will teach them the truth?
