Jacob, a 13-year-old boy from Missouri, had never questioned God’s existence. He had no reason to do so. His mother had modeled her faith in God for him. Yet, in Jacob’s first year of middle school, his science teacher presented evolution as scientific fact. Worse,she ridiculed children who asked about creationism.
