What is the Gaia hypothesis?

The Gaia hypothesis is named after the Greek goddess for the earth. According to Gaia hypothesis, earth itself is a living organism, our “Mother Earth,” as its proponents call it. Many evolutionists adopt this theory because they have not found any evidence for gradual undirected evolution as Darwin predicted. Radical environmentalism and the New Age movement tie right into the Gaia hypothesis and evolution. The Bible teaches the earth was made for man to have dominion over. It is going to be destroyed one day.
